Quirky has been working hard, well most of time, during class time. Currently she is working on a Geography Unit Study. Today She reviewed the different types of maps.
After reading through her book, Physical Geography by Stephanie Cantu , a great free book that can be found in iBooks, she took brief notes on the different types of maps and their uses in her notebook. She then used her notes to create a series of posters using the Phoster App.
We have used this app before and it is quickly becoming one of our favorites. After creating her posters she then put them together in a presentation using the Doceri App. Another great app and also one of our favorites. I wish I had saved the video but I forgot. You'll just have to trust me, she did a great job. Overall a great project incorporating two apps.
